Let's remind ourselves of the six sensational contenders…
Was it Gareth O’Brien’s all the way back in Round 1, which gave Leigh Leopards a historic 0-1 victory over the reigning champions, Wigan Warriors?
In a truly pulsating Battle of the Borough, O’Brien reaped the glory in Golden Point extra time as Leigh secured their first away win at Wigan since 1983 and in turn set the tone for the remainder of the campaign.

Or maybe it was Mikey Lewis’ match-winner in the opening round? In Golden Point minutes, the current Man of Steel slotted over a drop goal to win the game for the Robins at Sewell Group Craven Park.
Little did he know how crucial this victory and its two points would turn out to be later on in the year…

In Round 3, it was Hail Aidan Sezer as Hull FC scrounged their way to two points. And it was their captain and half-back who stepped up with the big moment when it mattered.
After a stunning individual performance, Sezer delivered the decisive blow, slotting the ball over to clinch the win. Again, it was two important points in the bag for the Black & Whites as they now embark on a race to the top six…

St Helens skipper Jonny Lomax nailed two drop goals in the final ten minutes to give the Saints a 14-13 lead against Catalans Dragons back in Round 6. It was a thrilling contest to say the least, but does this drop goal sit at the top of your list?

And let’s not forget Mason Lino’s two one-pointers for Wakefield Trinity in 2025 – both coming against West Yorkshire rivals.
Albeit his effort against Castleford in Rivals Round wasn’t the cleanest, but it meant Trinity were able to claim long-awaited spoils over the Tigers – earning their first home derby win since 2013, as well as recording their first Super League home win of 2025.

Then, it was pinpoint accuracy against Leeds Rhinos in Round 20 – an unforgettable moment as the Wakefield playmaker landed a breathtaking one-pointer from 40 metres out. A statement win for Trin and their Play-Off aspirations…
